On September 14th, during A Taste of West Cork Food Festival, celebrated Eccles Head Chef Eddie Attwell
will take you on a trip for the taste buds with a foraging extravaganza!

Eddie Attwell, Eccles Hotel acclaimed Head Chef came to West Cork after almost two decades in the hospitality industry,
including working in 2* Michelin restaurant Lenclume in Cumbria, as well as appearing twice on BBC’s Great British Menu.
Eddie is extremely passionate about sourcing the best of local produce, ensuring Eccles’ tradition of using the finest ingredients from West Cork carries on.

Firstly visit the polytunnel at Eccles Hotel where our organic edibles for the hotel's restaurant are grown.
Then set off on a kayaking trip around the islands in Bantry Bay, exploring and foraging for edibles. Return to Eccles Hotel for a
Feast of West Cork as you experience cooking on the Big Green Egg, arguably the best ceramic grill on the planet!

 The kayaking, foraging and Big Green Egg event costs €75 per person and booking for this 2pm event is essential.

When you’re finished your foraging extravaganza, why not take a stroll around the picturesque village of Glengarriff,
or enjoy spectacular views from Lady Bantry's Lookout in Glengarriff Nature Reserve. Alternatively take the short ferry across to Garinish Island, or marvel at the beauty of the Blue Pool?
