The Eccles Hotel was built in 1745, and is a beautiful, historical building with charm and character. Our wheelchair accessible room is based on the ground floor of the hotel with direct access from the car park via a ramp and through double doors on the east wing of the building. The reception desk is 100 yards from this entrance and your room.
On entering your newly refurbished room, you will be greeted by new and fresh tones, from Elephants Breath on the walls, gold silk curtains, plump feather cushions on the bed and tasteful, historical art work on the walls. This room enjoys panoramic views over Bantry Bay with a seating area for you to sit back and enjoy. The bathroom is equipped and caters for accessibility with a wet room, grab rails and accessible facilities.
Our Garinish restaurant is not directly accessible from the main hotel but can be accessed, via the west of the hotel on an outdoor ramp. Our Harbour Bar and Gastro dining is available on the ground floor and is located adjacent to our Reception area. Seating can be reserved for breakfast and dinner in this location should you so wish.
Please note that there is one wheelchair accessible room, as listed above, to include all facilities that of a wheelchair user requires and we reserve and give priority to these users.
Please do contact us directly should you have any questions in relation to your upcoming stay at the Eccles Hotel, we are always happy to help.
