Taste of West Cork
A Taste of West Cork Food Festival -Taste the Twenties at Eccles Hotel this September!
Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff, West Cork is steeped in over 250 years of history, with the likes of WB Yeats, Maureen O’Hara and George Bernard Shaw all visiting the establishment over the years.
What better place, then, to celebrate the Roaring Twenties, the glorious age of jazz, flappers and possibility?
On September 14th, during A Taste of West Cork food festival, Eccles Head Chef will prepare a ‘jazzy’ 1920’s tasting menu featuring the best of West Cork produce, and – prohibition be damned – each course will be paired with specially selected wine.
The Roaring Twenties tasting menu and paired wine menu costs €65 per person and booking for this 7pm event is essential.
To mark the occasion Eccles Hotel is offering a special accommodation offer of €140 per person sharing, including the Roaring Twenties tasting menu and breakfast.
When you’re done with reliving the past, bring yourself right back to the perfect present with a stroll around the picturesque village of Glengarriff, where you’ll find wonderful shops selling local produce.
Why not take the short ferry across to Garinish Island, or marvel at the beauty of the Blue Pool?
Alternatively, if you fancy a bit of indulgence, treat yourself to a splendid VOYA treatment at the hands of expert therapists as your cares drift away. Eccles Hotel experience is designed to help you forget the outside world for a bit.
